MSNA General Info

Moore Stephens North America (MSNA) is a progressive accounting firm association, whose 50 member firms based in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, are on the cutting edge of service offerings designed to meet the growing challenges faced by their clients. The firms in MSNA have long been able to pool their complementary skill sets—those that have either industry or technical practice area niche expertise, or both. This ability to house a depth and breadth of service offerings and expertise within an accounting firm association enables MSNA to compete with the Big 4 and other large national firms. Combined member firm revenues of almost $1.1 billion generated by nearly 125 offices located in major markets, makes MSNA the sixth largest CPA firm association in the US .

Because Moore Stephens North America accounting firms are independent of one another, the accessibility of multiple professional services can be offered in a “one-stop shopping” approach. Contrast this with the Big 4 firms: you would, under the current regulatory environment, have to obtain one service from one firm (e.g. attest) and look elsewhere for another firm to service your other business needs.   Formed in the mid-1970s, the Moore Stephens North America accounting group is one of five regional members of Moore Stephens International Limited, headquartered in London, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2006.   Embracing Thomas Friedman’s well-known mantra "the world is flat,"the need for interconnectivity takes on greater importance across the globe. Moore Stephens affiliates can be found in nearly 100 countries; in over 550 offices worldwide. But despite this geographical presence, the MSNA firms, working cooperatively with their international affiliates, have adopted the organization philosophy: Global Reach with a Local Perspective.
